Hello.
Again one question about accounts.
I buy yesterday Nightfall,and register on www.playNC.com.
I buy from friend his account of Factions,and it is registered on different mail,normally.
That mail is inactive.
So,my question is:can i and how move his account to my account,to upgrade my Nightfall with his Factions?
Plz,anyone...?

You can't, in order add another chapter you'll need the activation key, which had already been used by your friend. So basically you cant move his account to your account. Try to get in touch with the support and see what'll happen.

Buying and selling accounts is against the EULA. Go buy a new copy.

Accounts aren't transferable. Never buy a used account. I'd try to get your money back from your "friend" if you can.

i got an account from my brother, he tried the game and it wasnt his type of game so he gave me the account. its a prophecies acc and i already have one so i dont reall use it for anything. i'v tried to talk him back into playing but hes dead set against it. i use my normal account for pve, and i play around on pvp with his prophecies acc.

no money changed hands, either way his account would not be used, atleast with me it is not wasted. i have the Proof of purchase just incase anet tried anything.

i understand the rule, But If i am no longer going to play my account and my friend or family member would like to take over, there is nothing wrong with me giving them my account. its My account that i paid for.

when you transfer ownership of an account you need to change the personal information so that anet knows you now control the account.
a supportive email from the previous owner doesnt hurt either, and if you can get the proof of purchase that would help if any legal matters arise.

account selling is a problem because of false keys and account scamming for real money. if anet is going to "Crack Down" on account traders they should start enforcing their rules In Game, i see no less than 3 account traders a day in game. and i understand that another reason account selling is a nono is because if someone steals your account and then says you Gave it to them how can anet determine the liars from the honest? proof of purchase (scan and email)

if you already have factions then you might not beable to merge the accounts. if you dont have the game then you should be able to add the cd key and merge the account into yours. i'v never tired this so i dont know.

you need to take this question to anet support staff, this site might not have the best, most accurate information. also you cant change the password or email information til an email comformation has been recieved by anet. that email anet sends to the original emailling add. just incase the account was indeed stolen it can be reclaimed.
